PROFESSIONAL CAREER

Prior to joining Ottawa, he had spent his entire CEBL career with Hamilton/Brampton where he stands as the franchise leader in points (653), rebounds (310) and games played (55) across both the regular season and playoffs … Has played in 10 different countries (Argentina, Canada, Cypriot, Czechia, Finland, Germany, Lithuania, New Zealand, Poland and Portugal) during his international career for 12 different teams

 

2024-25:  Playing in his first season for Neptunas (LKL) where he ranks third on the team in rebounds per-game (4.7) and fourth in points per-game (12.0) … Has scored in double digits in 17 of his 23 league games this year … Had his lone double-double of the season (10 points, 11 rebounds) on 11/16/24 against his former team, Kedainiai Nevezis (83-74 win)


2023-24: Paced Kedainiai Nevezis of the Lithuanian LKL in scoring (16.8 points per-game) and sat second in rebounds per-game (6.6) … His points per-game total placed him seventh in the league and his rebounds per-game placed him tenth … Provided the highest scoring game of his international career when he recorded 35 points while going to the free throw line a career-high 18 times in a 93-88 loss vs. Juventus on 3/18/24 … In his third season of CEBL play, he led Brampton in points per-game (15.9), rebounds per-game (6.0) and three-point percentage (.370) … Established a personal CEBL single-game high in points (30) on 7/7/24 at Edmonton (99-79)


2022-23: Began the season playing in Finland for the first time as a member of the Helsinki Seagulls (Korisliiga) where he scored in double figures during eight of his 10 appearances on the season … Was a teammate of former Ottawa BlackJacks forward Zena Edosomwan with Helsinki … Joined Apollon Limassol BC of the first division Cypriot league where he established the second highest rebounds per-game total of his international career (9.4) … Never registered less than six rebounds in a game with Apollon and had a double-double in half of his appearances (eight in 16 games) … Scored 13 points with three rebounds in the Honey Badgers’ first game following their move from Hamilton to Brampton on 5/24/23 at Ottawa (95-93 loss) … Established CEBL career highs in rebounds per-game (7.4) and minutes per-game (27.9)


2021-22: Spent the majority of his fourth international season with U.D. Oliveirense Cacarola in Portugal’s first division where he ranked second on the club in points per-game (13.6) and rebounds per-game (7.0) … Provided five double-digit rebound games including a season-high 15, to go along with 15 points, on 5/12/22 vs. CAB Madeira (82-72 win) … Won a CEBL championship with Hamilton averaging 7.1 points per-game, 3.7 rebounds per-game and 19.7 minutes per-game in his inaugural CEBL season …  Made his CEBL debut on 6/2/22 vs. Guelph (103-85 win) recording seven points, three rebounds and two assists in 16 minutes of play … Scored a season-high 23 points with eight rebounds on 6/19/22 at Guelph (89-83 loss)


2020-21: Participated in games for three different teams across three countries … Began the season with Nova Hut Ostrava in Czechia and led the team in points per-game (18.5) … Registered eight double-doubles featuring a 34-point, 11-rebound effort on 12/29/20 vs. BC Kolin (110-85 loss) … Played 10 games for Enea Abramczyk Astoria Bydgoszcz in Poland beginning on 1/12/21 vs. Legia Warszawa (85-75 win) before concluding his season with Franklin of the New Zealand National Basketball League where he averaged an international career-high in points (21.4) and rebounds (11.3) … Scored at least 20 points in five of his seven appearances with the team


2019-20: Made five appearances for Ferrocarril Oeste Buenos Aires in Argentina’s top division and ranked in a tie for third in blocks per-game (0.6)  … Participated in one game for BC Goettingen (G-BBL) in their opening game of the year on 9/25/19 vs. Basketball Lowen Braunschweig (96-77 loss) recording five rebounds and one point in 15:26 of game time


2018-19: Began his professional career with Kobrat (Korisliiga) where he led the team in rebounds per-game (7.4) … Appeared in all 40 of the team’s games … Ranked second on the club in blocks per-game (0.6), fourth in minutes per-game (28.8) and fifth in points per-game (14.2) … Scored a season-high 28 points while going a perfect four-for-four from three-point range on 3/27/19 in a 94-77 loss at Kauhajoki Karhu

COLLEGE CAREER

2017-18: Ranked in the top 20 among all conference players in points per-game (11.9), rebounds per-game (8.8) and field goal percentage (.471) for the Manhattan Jaspers (MAAC) … Became the 38th member of the Jaspers 1,000-point club during the season … Played in all 31 games while being named to the Third-Team All-MAAC Team for the second consecutive year … Recorded 14 points in the opening game of the Belfast Classic on 12/1/17 vs. Holy Cross (70-54 win) … Scored a season-high 28 points with four three-pointers in a 93-76 win vs. Monmouth on 2/10/18 … Provided 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks in a 92-86 Senior Night win vs. Quinnipiac on 2/25/28


2016-17: Named to the Third-Team All-MAAC Team … Led the team in rebounds per-game (7.0) and defensive rebounds per-game (5.0) … Led Manhattan in scoring in nine of his 32 games while providing eight 20-point contests … Was the only regular to start all 32 games … Established a personal NCAA single-game high in points with 35 on 1/13/17 vs. Rider (76-73 win) and in rebounds (15) on 2/10/17 vs. Monmouth (62-58 loss) 2-58 loss) 


2015-16: Led Manhattan in rebounds per-game (6.0) and field goal percentage (.492) during his sophomore season … Ranked 14th among all MAAC players in defensive rebounds per-game (4.1) and offensive rebounds per-game (1.9) … Scored in double figures in 18 contests with four double-doubles … Started 30 of 31 games averaging 23.5 minutes per-game … Registered a double-double in consecutive games in an 84-77 win on 2/11 vs. Quinnipiac (19 points, 11 rebounds) and an 81-73 win at Marist on 2/13 (13 points, 10 rebounds)


2014-15: Led Manhattan freshman in points per-game (3.6) and minutes per-game (8.3) … Scored a season-high 10 points (with three three-pointers) in a 65-48 victory in the MAAC tournament semifinal vs. Saint Peter’s on 3/8/15 … Made his NCAA Tournament debut on 3/17/15 in Manhattan’s 74-64 loss vs. Hampton in a First Round Matchup in which he registered five points and four rebounds.

Majored in psychology at Manhattan … Was rated the number 14 senior in North Carolina by Phenom Hoop Report … Played his first two high school seasons at Kernersville Glenn High School averaging 12.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per-game as a sophomore … Son of Kate and Scott Waterman
