The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced that official New Era team merchandise for the inaugural season is now on sale in-store and online.
Since the launch of the new CEBL franchise in November, Ottawa BlackJacks fans have been showing their excitement for the launch of New Era team merchandise. Fans can now proudly represent the Nation’s Capital professional basketball team by purchasing items of the BlackJacks first merchandise drop in history, which includes clothing for men, women and kids.
Season seat holders had the first pick on the merchandise Wednesday night, at an exclusive member event, featuring the BlackJacks official DJ and local radio personality, DJ TDOT, and their first player,
Jean Emmanuel Pierre-Charles.
The CEBL is the first basketball league ever to have a partnership with
New Era. The Ottawa BlackJacks will take to the court in May 2020 for its inaugural season wearing New Era team merchandise and uniforms. Additional merchandise such as team caps will become available in the coming weeks so fans are encouraged to check out the inventory often. Official team uniforms will be unveiled at a later date.

The BlackJacks tipoff their inaugural season on May 7 when they travel to St. Catharines for a date against the Niagara River Lions. The first home game for Ottawa is scheduled for May 14 at the Arena at TD Place against the Hamilton Honey Badgers.
All 20 regular season BlackJacks games will be streamed live on CBC Gem and the Island Sports Network. Ottawa will also be part of a nationally televised broadcast as part of the CBC Game of the Week when the BlackJacks travel to Hamilton on May 30.

The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) features world-class professional basketball in a fan-friendly entertainment environment across seven cities in Canada. The 2019 inaugural season saw more than 100 Canadian and international players take to the court, culminating with the Saskatchewan Rattlers earning the first CEBL championship trophy.
