Ottawa BlackJacks Name DJ TDOT Its Official DJ

Local radio and club personality to spin at all BlackJacks home games

The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Wednesday that DJ TDOT has been named the team’s official DJ.

Tyrell Henry, known as DJ TDOT, will be part of the excitement before, during and after each BlackJacks home game, creating an entertainment environment like no other. From the minute fans walk in to the Arena at TD Place, until they leave, DJ TDOT will be playing music and pumping up the crowd from his booth next to the court.

Originally from Calgary, Alta., now residing in Ottawa, Henry started developing his craft at just 13 years old. What once was a hobby turned into a passion and career. Henry has become an essential part of Ottawa's club network, as well as Ottawa’s number one hit music radio station, Hot 89.9 FM, playing for more than 400,000 listeners daily. He entertains thousands of music lovers yearly at live shows, and has been featured alongside the likes of Akon, Kevin Hart, Sean Paul, Pitbull, Kid Cudi, NAV, French Montana and many more. 

The versatility of DJ TDOT will provide Ottawa BlackJacks fans with the best in-game atmosphere, as not only will he get old school and hip-hop lovers out of their seats and on their feet, he will get EDM fans fist pumping too. With his infinite energy and musical knowledge, DJ TDOT will foster the best atmosphere in town during every BlackJacks home game. 

The BlackJacks tip off their inaugural season on May 7 when they travel to St. Catharines for a date against the Niagara River Lions. The first home game for Ottawa is scheduled for May 14 at the Arena at TD Place against the Hamilton Honey Badgers.
