BLACKJACKS MINI CAMPS
BlackJacks basketball is coming closer to home.
The Ottawa BlackJacks are developing a new series of high-energy half-day basketball clinics at community gyms throughout Ottawa and surrounding communities.
Built for young athletes ages 7–14, each Mini Camp will combine basketball fundamentals, movement, challenges, competition and fun in a three-hour BlackJacks experience.

Mini Camps are designed to bring BlackJacks basketball programming directly into local communities.
Each clinic will provide young athletes with three hours of active, professionally organized basketball programming led by members of the Ottawa BlackJacks basketball and community staff.
Participants will move through skill development, challenges and gameplay in an environment focused on learning, confidence, teamwork and having fun.
Camps are being developed for weekends and school PD Days to make them accessible to families throughout the region.
MINI CAMP AT A GLANCE.
AGES 7–10
An energetic introduction to skill development, movement, coordination, confidence and fun.
AGES 11–14
Skill development, basketball concepts, challenges and competitive activities for developing athletes.
3 HOURS
A half-day format designed to keep participants moving and engaged from start to finish.
WEEKENDS + PD DAYS
Camps will be scheduled around convenient dates for families throughout the year.
BUILT FOR ENERGY + CONNECTION.
THREE HOURS OF BASKETBALL + ENERGY.
The exact format may vary by age group and facility, but every Mini Camp will be built around active participation and basketball development.
DYNAMIC WARM-UP
Movement and athletic activities designed to get players ready to work.
BALL HANDLING
Skill work focused on control, coordination and confidence.
PASSING + MOVEMENT
Activities that build teamwork, communication and court movement.
FINISHING
Footwork, layups and finishing skills around the basket.
SHOOTING
Technique, repetition and competitive shooting activities.
CHALLENGES + GAMES
Friendly competition and gameplay to bring the entire session together.
TWO SESSION WINDOWS.
Mini Camps are being designed around a simple three-hour format, allowing us to host morning and afternoon sessions when appropriate.
MORE THAN THREE HOURS IN THE GYM.
The planned Mini Camp package extends the experience beyond the clinic itself.
Each registration is expected to include two Bronze tickets to experience Ottawa BlackJacks basketball at TD Place, along with a Mini Camp t-shirt.
Final pricing, inclusions and availability are subject to confirmation when individual Mini Camp locations are announced.
